Holla guys and gals! Recently I hired a private tutor to help me with some topics in algebra. My problem areas included topics such as calculator for finding lcm and function composition. Now that instructor turned out to be such a waste, that instead of helping me now I’m even more confused than I earlier was . I still can’t crack problems on those topics. And the exam time is nearing. I need someone to help me out. Is there anything significant that can be done to get some sort of help? I have a fairly large set of questions to help me learn these topics, but the problem is I just can’t crack them, no matter how much I try . Please help!

Thanks for the detailed information , this seems great . I wanted something just like Algebrator, because I don't want a software which only solves the exercise and gives the final result, I want something that can really explain me how the exercise has to be solved. That way I can understand it and after that solve it on my own, not just copy the results. Where can I find the software?
