multiplying standard form

Can someone help me with my assignment problems ? They are based on multiplying standard form. I have read a few articles on simplifying expressions and function definition but that didn’t really help me in finding solutions to the questions on my assignment. I couldn’t sleep last night since I have to turn in pretty soon. But the problem is no matter how much time I put in, I just don’t seem to be getting the hang of it. Every question poses a new challenge, one which seems to be tougher than conquering Mt.Everest! I need some help right away . Somebody please guide me.

I remember having problems with adding matrices, quadratic equations and conversion of units. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, College Algebra and Pre Algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
