Hey guys ,I was wondering if someone could help me with what is the original formula for a square root? I have a major assignment to complete in a couple of months and for that I need a thorough understanding of problem solving in topics such as reducing fractions, exponent rules and like denominators. I can’t start my project until I have a clear understanding of what is the original formula for a square root since most of the calculations involved will be directly related to it in some form or the other. I have a problem set, which if someone can help me solve, would help me a lot.

I remember having difficulties with simplifying expressions, radical inequalities and adding matrices. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Remedial Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
