subtraction of rational numbers

I just discovered that I am running out of time in dealing with some issues with subtraction of rational numbers. I had kept it pending hoping that I will come across good quality learning resources or someone who can be of assistance with roots, logarithms and syntehtic division. May be, I did not explore hard enough. But now I am running late . It is simply taxing to unearth a first-class tutor to quickly educate me. It is beyond what I can afford . And I need to find a fast way out. Can anyone who has had the same problem advice me as to what I can do? It will be a big help.

Well I do have a suggestion for you. There used to be time when even I was stuck on questions relating to subtraction of rational numbers, that’s when my younger sister suggested that I should try Algebrator. I remember having problems with difference of squares, simplifying expressions and long division. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several math classes - Algebra 2, Algebra 2 and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
