calculators for use in grade 11, ontario

Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora algebra tutor , because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework this year. Every day when I come home from school I spend all the afternoon with my math homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain whether a algebra private teacher is worth it, since it's not cheap , and who knows, maybe it's not even so good . Does anyone know anything about calculators for use in grade 11, ontario that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding ratios,trinomials or multiplying matrices? Any suggestions will be valued.

I agree, resources on the internet are no better than the college books. Algebrator is a good way to start your math career.
