Hello there I have almost taken the decision to hire a algebra private teacher, because I've been having a lot of stress due to algebra homework this year. each time when I come home from school I spend all the afternoon with my algebra homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the wrong answers. However I'm also not completely sure if a math tutor is worth it, since it's very costly , and who knows, maybe it's not even so good . Does anyone know anything about a java programm to find a sum and an average of a given number that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding factoring, quadratic equations or multiplying matrices? Any ideas will be valued.

I possibly could help you if you can be more specific and give more details about a java programm to find a sum and an average of a given number. A right computer program would be ideal rather than a costly math tutor. After trying a number of software I found the Algebrator to be the best I have so far come across. It solves any math problem that you may want solved. It also shows all the steps (of the solution). You can just reproduce as your homework . However, you should use it to learn algebra, and simply not use it to copy answers.

I have tried out a number of software. I would boldly say that Algebrator has assisted me to grapple with my difficulties on point-slope, function composition and factoring. All I did was to just key in the problem. The reply showed up almost at once showing all the steps to the result. It was quite easy to follow. I have relied on this for my algebra classes to figure out Basic Math and Remedial Algebra. I would highly suggest you to try out Algebrator.
