greatest common factor rules

Hello people . I am a student in the Remedial Algebra. I like algebra a lot since I was a kid. Unfortunately I have come to a point where I can no longer solve my math problems alone . I had a math private teacher, who helped me for a while with my homework, but I had to pay so much that I had to tell him not to come anymore. Today we learnt something new: greatest common factor rules, and when I came home from class I noticed that I can't do my algebra homework, and that stressed me. I also still don't understand graphing function and trigonometry. What should I do now? I adore algebra and I don't want to have bad grades.

This story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in math for many years, when I began Intermediate algebra there were a lot of math topics that seemed confusing. I remember I got a very low mark when I took the test on greatest common factor rules. Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything quite easily , even system of equations and converting fractions.
