radical to decimal using ti 83 is my biggest problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for beginning this subject?

Your story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was great in algebra for several years, when I started Algebra 2 there were a lot of algebra topics that seemed very hard . I remember I got a very bad grade when I took the test on radical to decimal using ti 83. Now I don't have this problem anymore, I can solve anything without problem, even interval notation and exponential equations. I was smart that I didn't spend my money on a tutor, because I heard of Algebrator from a friend . I have been using it since then whenever I stumbled upon something complicated.

Yes ! I agree with you! The refund guarantee that comes with the purchase of Algebrator is one of the attractive options. In case you are not happy with the assistance offered to you on any math topic, you can get a refund of the payment you made towards the purchase of Algebrator within the number of days specified on the label. Do have a look at http://www.mathenomicon.net/basicconceptsofmathematics.html before you place the order because that gives a lot of information about the areas on which you can expect to get assisted.

I remember having often faced problems with geometry, converting fractions and graphing lines. A really great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
