how do you factor trinomials

Hi Fellows ! I have a serious problem about algebra and I was wondering if someone might be able to help me out in some way . I have a math test in a short while and even though I have been studying algebra seriously, there are still a some parts that cause a lot of headache , such as how do you factor trinomials and perpendicular lines especially. Last week I had a session with a math teacher, but many things still remain vague to me. Can you propose a good way of studying or a good private teacher that you know already?

I too have had difficulties in trigonometric functions, complex fractions and trigonometric functions. I was advised that there are a number of programs that I could try out.
