average of numbers by pointers in c is my worst problem. Can some one help me understand it? I am a novice at it. What book or other resource do you suggest for starting this subject?

What exactly don't you understand about average of numbers by pointers in c? I recall having difficulty with the same thing in Basic Math, so I might be able to give you some advice on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Remedial Algebra, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you feel like. It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever used a similar software . I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it!

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Pre Algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with subtracting fractions, system of equations and hyperbolas. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
