I think God must have been in a really bad mood that he came up with something called algebra to trouble us! I’ve spent hours working on this math problem which relates to free online tutorials on ellipses and hyperbolas and I still can’t crack it . I’m particularly stuck on converting fractions, y-intercept and mixed numbers. Can anyone show me the way on how to go about finding a solution to such problems? I’ve tried various means that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent guidance now. Anybody?

I too have had problems in x-intercept, syntehtic division and function domain. I was informed that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out several but then the best that I discovered was Algebrator. Just keyed in the problem and clicked the ‘solve’. I got the response at once. On top of it , I was directed through to the answer by an easily comprehensible step-by-step process . I have relied on this program for my problems with Pre Algebra, College Algebra and Intermediate algebra. If I were you, I would without doubt go for this Algebrator.

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - College Algebra, College Algebra and College Algebra. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through problems with decimals, adding functions and percentages. I would simply type in a problem homework, click on Solve – and step by step solution to my algebra homework. I highly recommend the program.
